1. Scope of Use

JCCEA (Authorized NGO by the Royal Government of Cambodia) collects and uses information acquired through the website of Japan Cambodia Cultural Exchange Association - JCCEA, (the “Site”) to the extent JCCEA deems it necessary for providing services on the Site. Such information collected will be properly handled within the scope of JCCEA’s activities.

2. Limitations on Use and Provision on the Site

  1. When using the Site, it is unnecessary to provide a visitor’s personal information such as name or address that may identify particular individual. However, the following list of services may require registrations of user’s personal information:
    a. Services
    • Suggestions and questions
    • Online newsletter subscription
    • Registrations for seminars, exhibition and others
    • Hiring and recruiting purposes
    b. Examples of information to be provided
    • Name
    • Address and telephone number
    • E-mail address
    • Information that may be necessary for other services
  2. In order to smoothly carry out services provided on the Site, JCCEA saves, uses and analyzes visitors’ personal information collected within the scope of JCCEA’s activities. Moreover, such information, in accordance with its content, will be shared within JCCEA internally.
  3. Our Site may acquire visitor activities (accessed URL, contents and sequences and others) by utilizing technologies such as cookies, web beacon and others for convenience optimization and obtaining statistical data analysis.

3. Use of Information Provided on the Site

JCCEA will never willfully provide information able to identify individuals to any third party, with the following three exceptions:

  • In cases of legally mandated disclosure requests;
  • In cases where the provider of information grants permission for its disclosure to a third party; and
  • In cases where JCCEA commissions a party to process the information collected; the information provided will be within the scope necessary for the execution of the commissioned tasks.

JCCEA takes measures necessary to prevent the leakage, loss, or destruction of acquired information and to otherwise properly manage such information

Our Privacy Policy applies to the Site only. We are not responsible for contents of websites linked on the Site.
